The joint project of Petrovilla and Svoghe Municipality envisages the construction of a cascade of nine river-bed hydroelectric power plants on the Iskar River located on the territory of Svoghe Municipality and partially on the territory of Mezdra Municipality between the villages of Thompson and Gabrovnitsa.

     In 2003 the Municipality of Svoghe selected Petrovilla Group for the project’s implementation because of the company’s extensive experience in construction of similar facilities in Northern Italy where the conditions strongly resemble those prevalent here. more...
